Since 2015, the farm has held annual training sessions on the Demeter biodynamic farming method, training nearly a thousand farmers nationwide. Through a 'farmer-to-farmer' model, it has been instrumental in spreading biodynamic practices across China. A highlight was the first Global Farmers' Conference on Demeter Biodynamic Farming, held on August 16, 2019. Over 50 farmers from 11 countries, including Australia, the US, France, the UK, and Italy, gathered to discuss the latest agricultural developments, contributing significantly to ecological farming in China.
自2015年以来,连续多年举办活力农耕生态农法培训,为全国各地输送了近千名活力农耕学员,以农夫传递农夫的模式,推动活力农耕农法在中国传播。2019年8月16日,首届活力农耕全球农夫大会在农场举办,来自澳大利亚、美国、法国、英国、意大利等11个国家和地区的50多位农夫齐聚一堂,共同探讨当下先进的农业发展模式,给我国生态农业的发展带来重要意义。

Demeter Biodynamic Farming
澳洲活力农耕技术
Biodynamic agriculture, founded by Rudolf Steiner in 1924, addresses soil degradation and declining plant and animal health caused by chemical use. In the 1950s, Alex Podolinsky in Australia developed a system based on Steiner's theories, including Compound 500 (P500) and a deep-tilling mixer, improving both production and ecology. In the 1960s, he founded the Bio-Dynamic Agriculture Association of Australia (BDAAA), offering services worldwide. Today, biodynamic farming is recognized as a global standard in agriculture.
澳洲活力农耕由人智学创立者鲁道夫·史坦纳(RudolfSteiner)于1924年提出,以应对自化肥农药推广使用后出现的土壤退化、动植物健康恶化等问题。1950年初,澳大利亚的阿历克斯·珀多林斯基(AlexPodolinsky)依据史坦纳的理论,在澳洲的土地上带领农夫们通过不断实践,逐步发展出一整套适合用于农业和园艺生产的系统方法创造了效果更为显著的复合500(P500)和独特刀头的深松型,搅拌机,使生产效益和生态效益显著提高。1960年初,阿历克斯创立的澳洲活力农耕协会(BDAAA)开始以公益的形式服务于全世界的农夫澳洲活力农耕农法已被众多国家的农场所采用并公认其代表了当今农法的最高水平。
Research Results
科研成果
We have collaborated with a research team from Zhejiang University to conduct a series of scientific studies on the farm, focusing primarily on humus and green manure to improve soil quality. By integrating relevant literature from the field, we explored the potential of humus in enhancing soil structure and nutrient cycling efficiency. The research shows that humus significantly improves soil water retention, aeration, and creates a favorable environment for soil microorganisms, thereby promoting sustainable soil development. Additionally, we analyzed the effectiveness of different types of green manure, finding that they release nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium at varying rates, which can effectively enhance soil fertility. In particular, the application of green manure during the early growth stages of crops has notably improved both yield and quality. Through these research projects, we not only provided scientific support for soil management on the farm but also contributed valuable insights and data to advance sustainable agricultural practices.
我们与浙江大学团队合作,开展了一系列围绕农场土壤改良的科研工作,重点研究了腐殖质和绿肥对土壤质量的提升作用。通过结合相关领域的专业文献,我们探索了腐殖质在改善土壤结构、提高养分循环效率方面的潜力。研究表明,腐殖质能显著增强土壤的水分保持能力、通气性,并为土壤微生物提供良好的生长环境,从而促进土壤的可持续发展。同时,我们还对绿肥的使用效果进行了深入分析,发现不同类型的绿肥对氮、磷、钾等营养元素的释放具有明显差异,能够有效提高土壤的肥力,特别是在农作物的生长早期,绿肥的应用显著提升了作物的产量和质量。通过这些课题的研究,我们不仅为农场的土壤管理提供了科学依据,也为推动可持续农业实践提供了宝贵的经验和数据支持。

Humus/腐殖质
Humus is nutrient-rich organic matter from decomposed plant and animal material. It enhances soil health by storing key nutrients, improving water retention, aeration, and preventing erosion. Humus also supports soil microorganisms, crucial for sustainable agriculture.
腐殖质是由植物和动物材料分解而成的富含养分的有机物质。它通过储存关键养分、改善水分保持能力、提高通气性并防止土壤侵蚀来增强土壤健康。腐殖质还支持土壤微生物的生长,这对于可持续农业至关重要。

Green Manure/绿肥
Green manure, from decomposed plants, enriches soil with nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. One kilogram of fresh green manure provides 6.3 kg of nitrogen, 1.3 kg of phosphorus, and 5 kg of potassium, equivalent to 13.7 kg of urea, 6 kg of superphosphate, and 10 kg of potassium sulfate.
绿肥是由分解植物制成的,有助于为土壤提供氮、磷、钾等营养元素。每千克新鲜绿肥提供6.3千克氮、1.3千克磷和5千克钾,相当于13.7千克尿素、6千克过磷酸钙和10千克硫酸钾。

Soil Quality Improvement/土壤质量改善
After applying Demeter biodynamic farming, soil quality significantly improves, with increased humus content and stronger plant roots.
